POKESAV Platinum Tutorial: Legit, Bred Pokemon (with POKESAV Download)

UPDATE- June 2011- The link below doesn't work. Project Pokemon have done something weird with their website and they're now supporting Pokegen (similar to POKESAV but better). Either Google for a new link, or try a newer program.

***IMPORTANT*** I forgot to mention that if you want to view your Pokemon's stats, click on the "Stats Edit" button in the top left hand corner, then click all max! This isn't essential because if you forget to do this then just place your Pokemon in the PC, and all it's stats will level outto the appropriate Level/ IV'S/ EV Spread!

I have seen many POKESAV tutorials out there that don't answer all of your questions, but I think this video will! If you make a Pokemon in the same way as shown in this vid, then you will be guaranteed that it will work on PBR WI-FI! If you have any questions, PM me and I will get back to you ASAP!

@TheArchimate Yeah, Project Pokemon kinda died horribly recently... I cannot find any other download links to the program. Anyway, why not move onto Pokemon Black or White, the new games. Pokemon Platinum is outdated by HGSS in 4th gen, and now 5th gen. There is a program for Black and White called "Pokegen", which does everything POKESAV does and more.

ok, i did everything correctly in pokesav, got the code, put it in AR correctly, made sure the game ID was correct and pressed the correct buttons to activate the code.....but it still is not working! what is wrong???

1.) Try other AR codes- if hey don't work either, then you have the wrong verison of the game registered in your AR.

2.) Have you got the right version of POKESAV?

3.) Are you pressing L+R when you are carrying the right pokemon for the right slot in your party (e.g. Pokemon 4 must have a pokemon in slot 4 in your party to sacrifice).

@Jd24blue Hey man, I've got a similar problem. I made a team on an older save, and it worked. I restarted the game, deleting the old save, with the generated pokemon from PokeSav. When I now, on this new save, put the code in the system, and then try it out in the game (with 6 sacrificial pokes in the party) it does not work. I have the 1.05 version of the AR Code Manager, 1.55 AR version, European game. Worked on my first save, but not on this second! :S What could be wrong? Thanks!

@2QsharkQ2 Are you using the same code as before, or re-saving them? Something odd has changed since your last save otherwise. My guess would be you've updated your AR or something since then, and it doesn't carrying Platinum support or something (like the situation with Black and White not working without a firmware update). Otherwise, I don't know. : (
