Jazzystan has united Kazakhstani audience with the Tokyo's finest artists in order to aid the Japanese people in fighting the consequences of horrible earthquake and tsunami. All proceeds from the event (27 000 USD) are donated to North-East Japan via JTI Foundation, who determine where the contribution is best utilised. So every dollar raised will go to aid the huge relief efforts needed in Japan.

This Festival is organized by Rustam Ospanoff/ DJ, Broadcaster. Since 2009 Jazzystan has featured such bands and djs as Jazzanova Live feat. Paul Randolph, Soil & Pimp Sessions, J.A.M, Quasimode, Root Soul, Tortured Soul, Kyoto Jazz Massive feat. Tasita D'Mour & Vanessa Freeman, Bah Samba, Simbad, Mad Mats, Eddy Ramich, Alex Barck, Nik Weston, Jazzamar, Shuya Okino & Gilles Peterson.
