10 second mustang LX

My 1st ever 10 second run May 2nd @ Wheels USA.
Hit the limiter but fook im in there ; )
Squealed like a pig when I found out Id got in there.
Mid 10's are in it but not too fussed...a 10's a 10 !

Agreed....will have even less time to shift when the dart big bore 427 with TEA high ports goes in along with a progressive 200 shot. Hope to have it out later this year and crack a 9.

Im in the process of a dart based 427 efi build at the moment. looking for 10s motor 9s spray driven to the track and keeping it a stick shift. Moneys holding me up but hope to get some runs late next year.

Thanks vibrant93. Bullets are to the axle but not turn downs. shifting @ 6100 on motor passes, 5700 on spray. only running 3.55 gears with a 28" slick so plenty of rpm left. Ideally need to run a 26''-27'' inch slick max with these gears for my setup.

Thank you. Its a 351w EFI with a + .030 overbore (358)

Best et to date is a 10.66@132 with a 1.52 60ft. Hit a couple of 1.40 flat 60ft's but got loose mid track so had to pedal it. Hoping to crack mid 10s next year.

Iv got a 1991 lx with a 347 stroker that ran a 10:90 but wasn't me driving I'm taking it out this Friday for my first run ever in it. I like your mustang too

Good runner! I'm a big fan of the exhaust note as well, do you have those bullets turned down or do they run straight out? How high are you spinning it? Good luck with the mid 10's. I'm chasing too!
