These cheeky monkeys like to ride in style on the back of Capybara.

A classic clip from our archive: Weirdly, some squirrel monkeys in a Japanese zoo have started riding these Capybara (giant rodents).

  • Sorry if you think we misinformed you but If you did read the description it does say that they are Capybaras. They just look like 'Giant Guinea Pigs' which is why it's in the title. Thanks for watching!

  • @roshinu1 Splitting hairs much?

  • @uzoouk That is why I said "title"... Not the description (which most viewers ignore, by the way). And yes it is misleading. I love the videos of your site but these animals are different and I don't want to give you a hard time. I just speak as someone in whose country both animals are bred and eaten in very different, incompatible geographical regions. Es como si yo dijese "Curí gigante es montado por un mico". De inmediato recibiría quejas para decir "Chigüiro es montado por un mico".

  • i wonder if you released them back into the wild would they keep showing that trait?

  • This was so cute! I love this channel anyway. I love animal videos. They always make me smile.

  • note to self: there are some huge ass mutant ninja rats in japan

  • @AodhMacG LOLLLL!! LMFAO!! XD

    I LOL-ed so loud!

  • THATS SO FUCKING CUTE!!!!!!!!!! T____T

  • @bikekbzon Because they are the worlds largest rodents. The rodents people are most familiar with are rats, mice and guinea pigs. Capybaras are not too well known by the general public.

  • The next step in evolution for these monkeys....
