  • What?

  • alot of big talk (more like drool) and then got beaten bad. Atleast Ray Mercer gives it a fair shot. No surprise u see him doing no groundwork training

  • Then he got his ass whooped

  • Dana white has a awesome rule in place, your knockout, the fight is over with. Its not long and boring, the fighters don't hug up on each other as they do in boxing. In boxing youll see out of shape guys say..240lbs throwing 2-5 jabs spend the rest of the round circling each other throwing a small punch then clinching..ie; David Areola. I would never discredit a mans work, but hes simply of shape, which is why Vitali did that number on him in 2008. Short fights=explosive entertainment.

  • And yes your brain/head does take a beating from boxing. I train with my friend in MMA ring and I notice the difference between boxing and MMA. Huge! I'm a 5 round Boxer, at 5'10 220 No matter how hard I try to prevent getting hit in the head they still slipp through and it dissorients you big time, and this happens for say..8-10 rounds a professional boxer, you best believe your brain swells.

  • I'm a heavy weight boxer and I'll admit there is no way a boxer can fight MMA and win. Its not logically possible. Because You train to respond a certain in boxing, that your brain does things second nature, but a MMA can do boxing. More rules in boxing, you don't have to worry about having your knees kicked out. I'm in late 20's and I wouldn't even consider taking up a match in MMA. Just not worth it, I do train a little bit of ground, defense and etc. But MMA is real fighting and Boxing isn't.

    LMFAOOOOOOOOOOOO

  • @curtmastor Agreed!!!

  • and frat guys jacking off to ufc pay per views need to seriously realize that no one is getting brain injury or skull damage in ufc despite theyre gloves being 2/3rds less padded and many ounces under the wieght of regulation boxing gloves. boxers with no ground game would lose most mma fights. ok whatever lets see gsp or anderson silva take a hook from paquia whos a toothpick compared to them and there would be many brain cells lost to say the least
