so cross your legs i think we'll set up now
or we could walk through the night
and follow these tracks back into town.
i heard the wolves start to howl at the moon,
it won't be long before they thirst for
blood that bleeds out of me and you.

i'll guard the ground on which you sleep,
i swear i'll hold them off
for as long as you need.
intrigued by the stare i feel from that shrub,
is it safe or do i wait for the
desperate hungry monsters to come?

coz i've got my gun;
so they wont fuck with me tonight.
i'll gladly watch them run,
as you sleep through this
bloody desert fight,
coz i've got my gun.

i'm not as built as you might like,
and so i'll play you this song
just to keep you that little bit more enticed.
i know this cold it makes us numb.
i'll keep you safe while you sleep incase
any predators might come

i know theres more that i could do,
i'd lie here for hours and
stare at stars to point out pictures with you.
with all my bones braced to keep me up.
its the way the locals say that all the wolves
theyd love to snap at us...
