Milk is not good for you,. The casomorphine (casein) initiates diabetes, dissolves the lining of the arteries & is the beginning of heart disease and grows tumors like prostate cancer. This guy is stupid! he knows nothing! after a very hard intense work out! You can drink whatever you want or eat whatever you want! this is PROVEN! Your body absorbs it so fast! Drinking choc milk on a regular daily .... ya that's not healthy, but after a work out you can frikin eat mcdonalds if you want! lol, shows how much he knows! I have been drinking choc milk after work out for months! the guy at my gym eats mcdaonlds after he works out! we got amazing bodies and 6packs! so shut it!

@SaM9881000 if that's working for you that's great, but regardless of if the food is post workout or not it can have a huge impact on your hormonal system, immune system and the rest of your body. I understand that seeing someone who great and they eat crap food can make it appear that it’s not a problem. But, I can tell you from personal experience in my early to mid twenties I carried and extra 20 pounds of muscle and looked great despite eating crap food.

But eventually it caught up to me I developed digestion problems. And I see this all the time with clients who didn’t have issues eating crap food, and eventually developed issues. Hopefully you’ll keep an open mind and do some more research on some of the problems eating milk or McDonalds. Best of luck to you.

Also there are also the issues of pasturization destroying the enzymes needed to metabolize the protein that is in in milk. So you do not get proper digestion of the protein that you're consuming.

The reason most encourage people to take in simple sugars post workout is because it will spike your insulin levels which can have a positive effect on your muscles ability to synthesize protein. This can be done just as easily with fruit post workout consumption if you're looking to get this effect, without any of the negative side effects which are many from procssed sugar in chocolate milk.
