It is always amazing to see Patti outside of her balladeer element into something so modern, and at the same time, she never loses her own flare. She makes any song she graces with her voice her own. At she really gets into it! There's nothing she can't do/sing.

  • If this was in Baltimore, I was there. I remember this, that's why I searched it.

  • @KeesusChrist It was in Philadelphia.

  • Patti LaBelle always praises the younger generation of singers

  • @EdTV20 ...Some of them.....she's not a fan of them all. Believe me.

  • Who else having LEGENDS cover there songs while LIVING??

  • @LaBelleOfTheBall2 I didn't realise how significant an artist Aaliyah was until 2000. before that i just wanted to look like her, dress like her, i loved her uniqueness and the way she embraced 'difference' she was always doing her OWN thing. But b4 then I hadn't really analysed just why i felt connected to her, why she impacted on me. That is what made her so significant. she was a LEADER, a trendsetter who was changing pop culture, helping it to evolve into its next phase. hope she saw this pf
