Don't get me wrong this kid is good, but there are plenty of better high school sensations out there. He reminds me of LaDanian Tomlinson with his ability to find openings. Also the blocking was really good and if it wasn't so, no one would have even heard of this guy.
Sam is a Warrick Dunn/Reggie Bush type of RB, not a pound it up the middle RB. Sam will have plenty of success if he's used correctly or as a 3rd down back or RB/receiver.
Sam is good enough to play in ANY conference if given the chance. Sam was the BEST player on that crappy Michigan team last year and Sam will have plenty of success next year when he's not being blackballed like he was at Michigan!
You are right to an extent, but if McGuffie had stayed in the spread as much as their QBS run he would have been fine. He is not a 25 to 30 touch a game guy in a cnference like the Big Ten
hes at rice, he just has to sit out due to NCAA rules, which states something along the lines of: "If you transfer from one college to another, you must sit out athletics for that season."
