I have read a lot of book about DID, from Sybil, switching time, to The mind of Billy Milligan.
They are all fascinating. The mind of Billy Milligan is about a young man called Billy who have 24 personalties due to the abuse of his stepfather.
His alters committed 3 kidnapping and rape and he was the first man in the US to be find not guilty by reason of insanity.
Fascinating book.

I have D.I.D and at times it can be rough, but yet, at other times; it doesn't bother me having it. This video is a great way to explain to people what D.I.D is and what causes it. Thanks for making this video, I appreciate it.

How can I deal with someone who suffers from it? I know someone with it, someone close to me

be kind and understanding - avoid any form of behaviour that may be sen as triggering a memory - try not to get cross for example or speak to the person like they were simple - if they ask for suggestions offer to read up on it together so you can be there as a comfort - very mild cases can be self healing to a certain degree but intense cases benefit most from long term, kind therapy without drugs - possibly something mild for extreme panic attacks but the therapy should include help for that

maybe looking at my profile will help u idk. anyways i will continue on fighting it, u have to move on face all the repressed memories, "get in touch with ur parts". this can be the last step.

May God be with all of u.
