I've sort of borrowed this clip, but I think it's been removed from YouTube. If the owner doesn't want me to have this clip on my channel, I'll have it removed. That's also the reason why I didn't put a watermark on the clip.
@tigerspooks What a lucky dude you are.....and I stand corrected you are totally correct in 67 it was the Gene Pitney Tour....I saw you guys "The Music Explosion" performing Little Bit O' Soul along with the Easybeats that performed Friday on my Mind and Heaven and Hell....you were all great for a kid that was age 15 at the time it was some great times and now great memories...thanks and my best to you....
Really enjoyed this "video" and song. Never knew them back in the day; sorry I missed them. And the director didn't screw up, in my mind; the fellows are just displaying a delightfully playful disrespect for the artifice in the convention. The huge yawn was real and honest, but not contemptuous. It was a kick. Thanks for posting.
@tigerspooks Music Explosion…. little bit o' soul was first lick SO MANY great guitarist learned. A near perfect garage song. A very belated "thank you" for such a great song
My band, "The Music Explosion" had a hit in 1967 titled Little Bit O Soul. We were on the Gene Pitney Tour with them for 5 weeks in '67 and I can't tell you what a fun time and learning experience we had. We were in the studio in NYC with them when they recorded Heaven and Hell. They had Tony playing with them at the time. They were so far ahead of their time. We kept in touch with them for a while but lost track. This took me back to a great time in my life and reminded me of how great they were

@ tigerspooks - The Music Explosion LP is awesome. Yet another band that got some recognition, but not as much as deserved!

The director needed to do a better job of telling our beloved Easybeats which camera they should be facing. Hilarious!

I think George Young was a little bit tired in that moment. 0:12-0:20. He's about to sleep anytime.. Hehe
