The best 1/2" cordless impact wrench is the Snap On CT4850.....period!

"best" It's good on a fresh battery, but after a few lugs it really falls off. The IR is about 1 inch shorter and about a pound lighter and works great. Oh, and with lithium ion batteries it still cost less than the SO.

IR cordless tools are tough. I've seen them drop on concrete from 30 ft, bounce, and keep working like nothing ever happened. Other tools break apart.
