Fistful of Dynamite
('Giù la Testa' - roughly translated - 'Duck Your Head') also known as 'Duck, You Sucker!' and 'Once Upon a Time...the Revolution' (1971) is a Euro Western directed by Sergio Leone.
Its plot is centred on two individuals, a poor Mexican bandit and an ex-Irish Republican Army revolutionary, who meet during the turbulent 1913 Mexican Revolution. It is the second part of a loose trilogy of epic called 'Once Upon a Time' Trilogy.
Sean Mallory (Colburn), a walking arsenal, with an obsession with dynamite, teams up with a Mexican peasant-turned-revolutionary, Juan Miranda (Steiger), a cigar-chomping, salt-of-the-earth peasant. Together, they stage a daring raid on the Mesa Verde national bank, defend their compatriots against a sadistic officer's well-equipped militia and risk their lives on a train filled with explosives. Beautifully filmed in the deserts of Spain, 'Fistful of Dynamite' also features another brilliant and unique score by Ennio Morriconne. The main theme features the magical voice of Edda Dell'Orso.

  • This was when they made real movies, real guns with blank ammo, real explosions and buildings coming down, none of this present day junk you see done by digital imaging. Fake guns, fake explosions, fake buildings being blown up and yes, fake actors in front of green screens.

  • "I'll go get the help." from Mr. Steiger to Mr. Coburn
