  • Thank you Lon; for sharing these videos with everyone. All your drawings are beatiful. You make it look so easy to create professional quality work. You inspired me to take up drawing as a second hobby. It's a great creative outlet to releave stress. The tips you give are excellent, you should really be proud of yourself for helping people. Thanks and God bless!

  • Thank you so much for your encouragement and kind words. I needed that. God bless.

  • Damn. I never read the discription D8

    SO sorry!!!!!!!!

  • Thanks for the correction. Next time I am producing a TV series, teaching a lesson, directing three cameras and drawing a portrait all at the same time, I will keep that in mind.

  • That is the best thing I have seen in. I love using charcoal. I like the fact it smudges , cos thats the effect I always seem to get with pencil too! Tahh man if that guy was about 40 years younger I would have a ,massive crush on him XD

  • I love you too!

  • I love the negative comments from people on this man's ability. Yes, he's not the greatest out there, but i have yet to see any of you critical assholes post vids of your artistic ability, or lack thereof, on Youtube.

  • Besides the lovely drawing, I'm shocked that he can talk and draw at the same time! That's like using both sides of the brain at the same time. Quite a talent. And watching this video has really helped me.

  • You inspire me to draw with charcoal again! Personally I think pencil is easier to handle, but charcoal seems more creative (I don't know why) It's really admirable that you can talk and draw at the same time, I can never do that! I wish you the best with your arts.

  • @SolidSnake2345 i agree. the hair is too out as well. but he draws beautifully

  • The face is too wide and not long enough. Look at the distance from the brow to the hair line and cheek to nose.

  • the undershadow of the lip makes it look like she has soul patch >.<

  • The model's nose is wider, and the shadow line should be closer to her right eye.

  • your a true inspiration lon,i feel lucky to have found your tutorials.talent and a true gent.

  • I thought he drew the her eyes best, i agree with some other comments, That he did not get a true likeness of her, And that the quality of the video needed to be better, Still, A nice effort and some good advice.

  • what paper do you use for the charcoal?

  • I thought I'm the only one who draws just a bit alike with my model... yours has a problem with the shape of the face

  • Thank you Lon for these wonderful drawings of pencils and charcoal. I would love to see more of your charcoal and pencil drawings in youtube. Hope you can upload more. Thanks again Lon. God Bless You
