I don't like it.. diving shipwrecks is a really cool and good experience.. but I don't really like purposely sinking them. But that's just our world... guess it makes it okay to sink a ship and ruin the habitat there as long as it puts money in their pockets huh.. I hope they sunk it and it landed on a fortune of gold!!!! They just lost that gold..haha

@3DG71646 If it weren't sunk intentionally, it would've been sold for scrap. Being underwater, it creates a fantastic habit to many marine creatures. This doesn't litter the Gulf, it helps create additional life. Just a cursory look at the video and that would become apparent.

TRUCK LAGOON in Micronesia is STILL THE BEST WRECK DIVING spot in the WORLD....you USAmericans ALWAYS forget... the USA is not THE WORLD...its just a PART of it !!! Pensacola is ok but by far not the best...not even mentioned for REAL Divers under the 5 best spots ...like Micronesia, Maledives, Great Barrier Reef Australia, Sardine Run Durban SA .....etc etc anyway Vid is ok but come down with NO 1

It would be a one time shot in the arm $ wise to sell it for scrap.  Sink it as an artificial reef and it pays off for years in tourist $ and making up for loss of natural reefs.
