After seeing Japanese people walking across the street holding tinfoil covered cardboard, we wanted to see if that was effective in reducing radiation they may be receiving from the nuclear disaster.

  • you remind me of my civics teacher

  • @noahk5423 i was wondering the samething.

  • How the hell does this guy just randomly have Uranium lying around like that???

  • water is a radiation shield

  • @prudhvi14 id imagine the r/hr of a small sample like that to be insignificant. a human can realistically absorb 100 units before symtoms occur. i'm guessing that sample puts out less than 1 r/hr.

  • one where the hell did you get the uranium??? and thewater particles soak up the radiation so i guess if you'd like to be holding a radiation sponge over your head your more than welcome

  • is it safe to that close to a Radioactive material?

  • very imformative info, thanks!
