Lesbian couple Dotti Berry and Robynne Sapp enter the fundamentalist mega-organization, Focus on the Family, to demand that Dr. James Dobson stop his misinformation campaign about gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender families. Dotti and Roby declare a nonviolent sit-in until Dobson apologize for his distortions of social science research in his December 18, 2007 Time magazine article. Uninterested in dialogue, Focus on the Family calls the police to have the two women arrested for trespassing.

  • once again..... if you do not prescribe to the 'beliefs' and "teachings" of FotF, they will harrass and/or try to intemidate into complience with their views and "morals".. I will just say to the ladies in this video, Keep up the fight for what you believe to be right and just.... for your cause is!!

And BTW if any one care to know, Im Heterosexual, but I believe that gay rights are not Special right.... just EQUAL rights.

  • I don't quite understand how the building of an organization - that's sole purpose is to further negative and antigay rhetoric - is Godly...

Evil is murder. Evil is rape. Evil is endangering the lives of your fellow Christian brothers and sisters by preaching hatred and intolerance.

Matthew 5:6 says, "God blesses those who hunger and thirst for justice." That's all those two women wanted. God bless them.

  • signs....watch....pray....he is coming soon

  • How many people die everyday because of traffic accidences. You can find all the faults people do not have control of, but do you, a God chosen, find anything to improve the making of automobiles that somehow correct these problems?

  • I completely agree,Jesus would probably be at the soulforce meetings,as well at alchoholic meetings, and bars etc.Jesus always went where the lost were Homosexuaity is not a "group" of stereotyped ppl. At least it should not be.God loves the sinner but he hates the sin. As is true for adulty, lieing, cheating.there is no sin above the other. need to realize that God's grace is big enough to forgive any sin in our lives. We are all sinners who if ones willing can be made clean by the blood Christ.

  • Okay but there are so many things that are against God's word that are acted upon EVERY. DAY. by the current bush administration, and yet, they're not being burned by God for much more serious infractions of God's law. Unknown thousands dead and God's pissed about gays!?

  • Actually I think he does allow call-ins. How often do you listen to his show?

  • sigh. . . . As much as it stinks. If you put your hand on a hot stove, your going to get burned. The same is true about Gods Word! If you go against it, your going to get burned (sooner or later). If Gods Word is not true then he cannot be God.

I guess this is all just an inconvenient

    truth

  • If Dobson were really so interested in "dialogue" rather than "monologue", he would take calls from listeners on his radio program. He doesn't. And that's one more reason why we need the FCC Fairness Doctrine brought back as Federal law. Dobson and his crowd, like all bullies, are cowards. And they fear the requirement of providing equal time for opposing viewpoints on the public airwaves a lot more than they fear sit-ins by well mannered and well spoken individuals such as Dotti and Robynne.

  • Evil is hate, and your post is immoral!

  • Yes, the same tactics Jesus used, to shock people into seeing the truth of his teachings.

He would be an outcast now, even more. Jesus would be at a Soulforce meeting, I'm sure of it.

    Sad? Yes, very.....

  • If you go by Bible quotes, we would all be murdering our neighbors, as a sacrifice to God!

The Bible is full of quotes, that don't even make sense, which any spiritual person knows it's not what Jesus would say, or act like!

Sad, but typical of some of the Christian community. Thank God not all, or most are like that. They know better, and simply let people be who they are, and know God loves them. The only sin committed here is the excuse to not accept God's diversity of creation.
