I taught my toy poodle to do this (although not quite as good!) Wasn't quite a prance, more of an extension as horses do !! He was a very fast learner, taught him to hop on his hind feet along a wall, all the basics, and also to balance food on his nose hehe xxx

That was fantastic! 5*! Would you send me more info on how you taught that beautiful prance. I would love to teach that to my GSD, Kaine. He loves to use his paws and I know he would do great with this trick:).

Luring? Yes please would love some more details. You've done a wonderful work. I would like to try it with my dogs.

Gypsy! Wow, what a fantastic little dog and what a trainer you must be to get work like that. The dog obviously adores you and the tail never ever stops wagging. Thank you for posting your videos. I wish you and yours a very merry Christmas and a safe and happy New Year. Sandy
did you shape this behaviour?

Yes, technically the prance was "lured" starting with one or two prance steps with a high reward schedule and fast reward delivery. It is not her natural gait. I can send more details if you wish.
