Let me explain.
Popular videos on youtube freeze the counter somewhere around 301 -310 and start updating every few hours rather than every few minutes. Odds are very low that you actually are viewer 307, but a lot of people that come to watch new videos often think they are viewer 301-310.
It's a concept that a lot of people can't get to grips with, so don't feel bad for assuming you're always the 307th viewer.
