literally-all humans are of the same species.

Some people may feel that way from this, "Good. So henceforth I'm going to call the people of your culture Takers and the people of all other cultures Leavers."

If that were taken figuratively, it wouldn't be speciesist. But a few animal rights activists I've talked to have taken it literally, which is why they would feel the way they do about it.
