I bought a sony bravia 55 inch that failed within 18 months - the company stated that this failure was related to a known manufacturers defect, yet they wouldn't replace it. Manufacturers warranty is only 12 months. I spent several hours on the phone for nothing. I 'm very disappointed with SONY!!! Don't buy unless you are willing to potentially flush your hard earned cash down the toilet!!!
