i used to kiss my chicks all day and put them on my head and shoulders and used to make them sit in my lap for some time before saying good night. I miss them a lot. :'(

The kid sitting in the video had just shorts on and u notice the open wound/cut on his left leg, and all the dirt on him. That is not good having that open wound sitting in that dirty chicken coup. I would be very afraid of him getting a infection or some weird disease.

@huntingsurvival This girl left the pen, and sat on her eggs in my father's shed. However, another hen was brooding at the same time as her, and she sat in the box in the pen with the others. So really, it depends on the hen. When the chicks hatch, the others may pick on them, and so I generally move them to a separate enclosure until they're a little bigger though. =]

What breed are they?

They are Rhode-Island Red cross White Leghorn. As adults, some were the same colour as the mother, others were white to creamy coloured, with speckles, etc. =]
