Hi Jacob! I just wanted to say thanks for all the Lucky Bamboo tips you give in your vids. They really do work! I had a LB growing in water and moved it to soil about a month ago. I wasn't sure if it was making a difference, but this morning I noticed lots of new roots popping up on the side of the cup it lives in. So exciting! Thanks again. Soil FTW!
Hi jacob i was wondering what soil can i use?I live in mexico they told me river soil is good but what do you recomend me i have 3 lucky bamboo stalks that im rooting in water till then
my lucky bamboo was given 2 me in a pot of a black gravel like substance. it seem 2 b thriving, however it has grown 2 big 4 the pot. should i repot it in the same substance or can i replant it in the medium to high nitrate soil recommended by another website? i cannot find anyone who has a lucky bamboo in this black gravel. all i know is that it needs repotted and i am not sure what 2 use 4 soil...do u have any suggestions?
Hi Jacob. Many thanks for the videos you post on lucky bamboo. They're really helpful and explain the process of caring for bamboo in a very clear-cut manner. I made the switch to growing my bamboo in soil after watching your videos and they were doing well until Winter hit. I live in Italy and the climate gets quite cold so if you wouldn't mind, i'd like some info on growing bamboo in winter (temperature/light). My healthy bamboo started turning yellow from the bottom up.Tips to save it?Thnks
i like your videos but i know someone who has grown a lucky bamboo to be huge and beutiful in just pebbles and water for over 20 years it does not turn yellow and is great.i also grow lucky bamboo in pebble and water and it is also flourishing
you have no idea how much i needed this video we have a lucky bamboo we got as a gift and i was subbed to you and knew it can't live in water for too long but it was in a rock soil like thing and i wasn't sure how to do it but now i feel alittle more confident.
also i doubt the whole plant is living in nothing but small rocks but that's all i see from the top so is it possible its all rocks? and if so can i just tip it on its side tap the sides and slowly take it out or no?

Does the pot* have to have holes.... (correction)

Quick question. Does the lot have to have holes in the bottom, for the water to drain? Or can it be a closed pot an just leave the water in it?
