Grey Seas Aquatics Ozone Reactor, with Coralife Luft Pump and Red Seas 50mg Ozone Generator.
The pressure in the chamber fluctuates between 1.9 and 2.1 PSI. When the pressure reaches 2.1 it pushes the water down and the air/ozone mixture comes out of the release valve into a small carbon chamber and into the fuge. The water runs through the Ozone Reactor, into the Nextreef Media Reactor with a mix of FFAquatics Carbon and GFO media. Right now the tank reads 300 mV for ORP and the goal is to achieve 400-420.

  • @electronkid710: It is a combination of injecting Ozone into a pressurized chamber and have the tank water circulate through it at a very low rate. Ozone directly into the water column without filtration can kill livestock. Too small a dose will do almost nothing to your tank, and if you don't filter the excess Ozone that gets out of the Ozone reactor you can get Ozone poisoning... to the extend of being lethal to humans in large enough doses. Be very careful and research it first.

  • @reefdynamicsmfg: At the very beginning of the video (0:01) you can see a large media reactor on the left of the o3 reactor and a smaller container (originally a air dryer container) with carbon. That smaller one is the one filtering the overflow once the chamber reaches 2.1 psi. The main effluent goes through the larger media reactor that holds both Carbon and phosphate removing media.

  • The best part is forwarding to the end.

  • Where's the carbon filter for the effluent? What are the residual ozone levels?

  • how does this work and is it ok if i dont use an air dryer and i just put the output ozone tube into my sump or do i absolutely need a reactor and im not using my skimmer because its not ozone compatible and im not getting a new one. also do i need activated carbon at the end?

  • Hey where did you get that GSA reactor from?
