@oneshowatatime - the first time I heard the jam, it almost seemed like they segued into a "Low Rider" theme for a minute or two - here in the video around the 9:51 mark. I can almost imagine Trey or Mike singing the song over the music at that moment.
The HPB mentions "Can't You Hear Me Knocking" teases at that point in the jam, perhaps a "Izabella" tease is in there as well as you mentioned.
- The jam leads into a laid-back "McGrupp" with lots of "phunk" thruout. . .
