Storm over Albury, NSW 3-4-09

You can get more info at http://wadeysway.com/YouTube-Intro.html but on this particular day I was heading home to try out the new video camera I had just purchased and this storm was looming in the west. I headed for the large hill (One Tree Hill (aka Red Light Hill)) to the north of Lavington and took this footage of the storm passing over Albury - Wodonga. Apart from all the lightning, the storm dumped 30mm of rain in 30 minutes.

A pure fluke my friend,...

I had only just bought the camera 15 minutes earlier and, on the way home, saw a dark cloud heading toward Albury. I went to the top of a nearby hill and started filming.

I looked at this again last week and was still impressed with the capture of the lightning,...

It was still a bloody fluke though !!
