I was inspired. My song. Not my videos. They're from a BBC documentation. If you'd care to hear more of my music you can do so by visiting my music page at myspace.com/agmacuyahoga. Thanks.

  • I watched a BBC documentary about Genie many many years ago.

She moved me so much and she never really left my mind.

Today I finished the book "Genie" by Russ Rymer and decided to see if I could find more about her on the web and ended up here.

Thank you for uploading the clips and images.

And for creating this very , very moving song.

Perhaps one day we will also try to make a song about her.

    She deserves it.

  • @VOIDMK20 I feel the same way about her. I wish she didn't have to suffer but it's beautiful the way her life and story effects one's heart. Thanks for what you said as well. Be blessed.

  • song?

  • It's my song. It made me think of Genie. That's why I made the video :)

  • It's weird how often I think of this girl. I wish life was kinder to her.

  • i dont think she was born retarded

i really think that the isolation she faced made her that way.

  • where on the web can I find more imformation about her.and also are there any newspaper articles on the web about her story and what happen to her so called mother and father.Does she have any other family other than the doctors that took care of her.I did read somewhere on you tube that they gave her back to her "mother" and she regressed .

  • omg u guys, wikipedia says she's still alive (age 54), i wish to meet her and give her a big huggggggggggggg!!!!!! <3

  • Just by watching this I feel like I just want to take care of her forever. She seems so innocent...

  • I really love this song. She was so beautiful, I seriously can't believe people can be that sick (as in her parents)

  • beautiful song. it sounded like a sad sad lennon's song.

  • I think that her parents were too stupid to see that she was normal.

  • @alx3610 You do realize that we learn by seeing. The first step we make in becoming who we are today is by watching what our parents do. She was stuck in a room all by herself. How does a baby act? Did they just learn to walk and talk straight from the womb? Of course not. These things are learned, they aren't just instincts.

  • @MatthewRayDavila69 Blaming evil on God for not stopping it , instead of on man for committing it, is just a futile attempt to have God both ways. We want him to stop all the evil in the world when it's happening to US, but when it's OUR turn to steal something, cheat on our spouse or molest a child we want him to step aside. Multiply that exception times everyone in the world and guess what you have? All the evil in the world. God isn't evil. WE are.
