This 45 RPM record was in a jukebox at a bowling alley in Windsor, Vermont USA in the late 60s, and for a dime, I always played it. The bowling alley usually wasn't too busy, and the jukebox was loud. This song sounded so good then, and it always will.

This really is an amazing feel good song with such great pace and a great beat, and that organ section sets the hairs on the back of your neck on end, not to mention the amazing vocals, just awesome! :-)

Imagine going to see these guys in their home town of Birmingham (only around 35 miles away from where I live) in the mids 60s, it must have been such an outstanding, golden time!

I really sometimes think I should have been born a few decades sooner then I could have fully enjoyed the 60s and 70s in a contemporary sense.

Still, at least we still have great music like this to listen to today, so much better than 90% of what gets turned out of the modern music industry.
