  • @kscuteflute salaam sister, please do not give up. i am also a revert and even i get the same from the brothers. times of eid, you feel lonely cause brothers don't invite you to come round. alhamdulliLlah, strenght comes from Allah. put your trust in Allah and he will guide you. inshaAllah.

  • is this girl from Cambridge ontario??? I think I recognize her voice! If so she Is a wonderful women :)

  • the difference between Islam and christianity is that christians will say have faith when trying to prove the existence of go but muslims will say read the quran and read up on the omniscient power of god, the science of god the science that he shared with us so kindly. That is how muslims prove the existence of god. also god is omniscient and he knows that facts are what people want to believe something so he has provided it to us

  • @wwedude007 There was a little girl on the show but I don't think she counts as a woman...

  • Thank you for the great interview. I loved it.

  • One issue with what was said: depression is a complex issue and is often a symptom of a greater problem. Simply telling people to have more faith will not resolve their depression and may make it worse because they will feel more alone in their struggle as a result. There are so many things that can cause depression (other illnesses, medications, poor nutrition, genetics, etc) that are beyond one's control. It's not always a matter of someone simply feeling sorry for themselves.

  • excellent point - please sisters, smile at each other! When I first converted I was so excited to see other sisters and would smile at them - only to have them avert their eyes, glare at me, or avoid eye contact all together. It was very discouraging and disheartening. Almost 3 years later and I still know very few Muslim sisters and have basically given up trying.
