  • Good technique, as a piano player...just a player though, not a pianist. It was musically lacking, I found; just sound and technique, no music, I'm afraid. Try to be sensitive to the music, and you find you'll play better. (For starters, don't stay at Forte!)

Also, you play like Kissin...you know...rush rush rush...slow down a bit.

  • Fair comments, I do agree that my arpeggios are a bit loud in a few passages. I've been working on quieting them down. However, I do wish to make two points in my defense:

    1. My camcorder's sound quality drowns out or distorts alot of dynamics. I have done an MP3 recording of this same piece that captures the sound much more clearly.

    2. I suppose "rush" is a subjective term. However I am almost exactly on Chopin's own metronome marking (based on the Cortot edition of the score).

  • Excellent technique!

  • try the soft pedal, and don't let that guy put you off play as fast as you like it's cool but there are parts where you should lean on notes even if you're not into it it gives the illusion of emotion.

    great playing though relax

  • excellent bravo,bravo........a fine musician
