To be honest with you - This guy is actually too good. I know that sounds strange, but he actually looks and talks like him too much. There is a sense of '"exaggeration" of facial expressions/words that impressionsists to to remind the audience of who is "being done'. Usually these impressionist dont look like the person they are doing AT ALL. That exaggeration factor makes it funny, almost like a charicature.
