Musikalische Leitung: Constantinos Carydis
Inszenierung: Richard Jones
Is this the same version of the Giulietta act that was used in ENO? It certainly seemed a bit fragmentary tho very very watchable. There is a good analysis, however, by Tim Wilson that says how much improved the ending should be.

This opera is simply wonderful! Very funny in some parts, very very sad in some parts and throughout the hole play really exciting! I just want to recommend it to you all, it's a great thing to see. From the smallest underpart to the most important roles does everyone do a great job. Again you can admire Diana Damrau's wonderful silvery voice and her amazing variety, Rolando Villazón's delightful voice and convincing play. Just watch it, it's worth seeing!

How amusing is to find opinions of wannabe opera critics like @Miguelardos in many of Villazon´s videos stating almost always without any analysis or argumente that he is terrible or, like in this case, that his performance was "disatrous"
I think they ar frustrated artists that just want to atrract attention in some way.The TRUE critics already gave their opinions for Villazon´s performance (and indeed a very good one) in spaces like:
-LE FIGARO;
-WELT ONLINE
-BLOG INTERMEZZO
-DER NEUE MERKER

@Miguelardos "O Dieu de Quelle Ivresse" during a performance can be seen here in youtube and the result is desastrous.

The sad thing about this new production in Munich is what it could have been Although we now know without question what Offenbach wanted in the crucial Giulietta act, Munich has chosen to go its own way, has completely ignored Offenbach's intentions, and produced a mess of their own that is fragmentary, confusing and completely misses the point. Sad, because so much of this representation really is quite good.

How about "O Dieu de Quelle Ivresse" the most demandind aria for the Tenor?
That aria will be the one to judge his current vocal state
