My first public sweeps. Part of Oziel Zinho's Cross

It has been too long since I posted last, so I had to throw something out there. So here is a "sneak peek" of more to come.
This is a small segment of "Cross" played and composed by Oziel Zinho. There are a number of different versions here on YouTube and he has a web-site with downloads here: http://www.ozielzinho.com.br/downloads.php . Cross requires techniques new to me, but I am so happy that my fingers (very slowly) do the new things I tell them. I also recorded the main theme, but it was so flawed, that it simply has to wait.
Again this should have been played with distortion, but I still don't have a good distortion tone, so I did it with clear tone. Actually I just discovered that at a certain setting the distortion on my Les Paul sounds semi decent, but also realized that this requires a different playing technique, so that will be for the next video.

I wish I could claim this as my own composition, but you can see in the title and my initial comment where the piece comes from. That said, I do a few improvisations now and then, which may be in future videos.

I now can play the whole song somewhat decently, but just don't have time for the recording process ... yet.
