In his autobiography Sam Fuller talks about how hard it was to film this because Steadicams weren't invented in the 60s and the cameras were HEAVEY; someone had to be placed behind the cameraman to make sure he didn't fall backwards. Fuller told Constance Towers to just hit the camera lenses with all her might.

This was the last scene filmed because Towers had to shave her head. Fuller said she did it "without any qualms." What a trooper.

In the print I saw, the movie opened onto this from a black screen... no music, no credits, not even a production company logo, it went straight from nothing to BAM! It was awesome.
