Gott der Allwissende und Allgegenwärtige
1 HERR, du erforschest mich und kennest mich. 2 Ich sitze oder stehe auf, so weißt du es; du verstehst meine Gedanken von ferne. 3 Ich gehe oder liege, so bist du um mich und siehst alle meine Wege. 4 Denn siehe, es ist kein Wort auf meiner Zunge, das du, HERR, nicht schon wüsstest. 5 Von allen Seiten umgibst du mich und hältst deine Hand über mir. 6 Diese Erkenntnis ist mir zu wunderbar und zu hoch, ich kann sie nicht begreifen. 7 Wohin soll ich gehen vor deinem Geist, und wohin soll ich fliehen vor deinem Angesicht? 8 Führe ich gen Himmel, so bist du da; bettete ich mich bei den Toten, siehe, so bist du auch da. 9 Nähme ich Flügel der Morgenröte und bliebe am äußersten Meer, 10 so würde auch dort deine Hand mich führen und deine Rechte mich halten. 11 Spräche ich: Finsternis möge mich decken und Nacht statt Licht um mich sein -, 12 so wäre auch Finsternis nicht finster bei dir, und die Nacht leuchtete wie der Tag. Finsternis ist wie das Licht.
1 O LORD, thou hast searched me, and known me . 2 Thou knowest my downsitting and mine uprising, thou understandest my thought afar off. 3 Thou compassest my path and my lying down, and art acquainted with all my ways. 4 For there is not a word in my tongue, but , lo, O LORD, thou knowest it altogether. 5 Thou hast beset me behind and before, and laid thine hand upon me. 6 Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; it is high, I cannot attain unto it. 7 Whither shall I go from thy spirit? or whither shall I flee from thy presence? 8 If I ascend up into heaven, thou art there: if I make my bed in hell, behold, thou art there . 9 If I take the wings of the morning, and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea; 10 Even there shall thy hand lead me, and thy right hand shall hold me. 11 If I say, Surely the darkness shall cover me; even the night shall be light about me. 12 Yea, the darkness hideth not from thee; but the night shineth as the day: the darkness and the light are both alike to thee .
1 Señor, tú me examinas, tú me conoces. 2 Sabes cuándo me siento y cuándo me levanto; aun a la distancia me lees el pensamiento. 3 Mis trajines y descansos los conoces; todos mis caminos te son familiares. 4 No me llega aún la palabra a la lengua cuando tú, Señor, ya la sabes toda. 5 Tu protección me envuelve por completo; me cubres con la palma de tu mano. 6 Conocimiento tan maravilloso rebasa mi comprensión; tan sublime es que no puedo entenderlo. 7 ¿A dónde podría alejarme de tu Espíritu? ¿A dónde podría huir de tu presencia? 8 Si subiera al cielo, allí estás tú; si tendiera mi lecho en el fondo del1abismo, también estás allí. 9 Si me elevara sobre las alas del alba, o me estableciera en los extremos del mar, 10 aun allí tu mano me guiaría, ¡me sostendría tu mano derecha! 11 Y si dijera: «Que me oculten las tinieblas; que la luz se haga noche en torno mío», 12 ni las tinieblas serían oscuras para ti, y aun la noche sería clara como el día. ¡Lo mismo son para ti las tinieblas que la luz!
Seigneur, tu sais tout de moi

De loin, tu discernes tout ce que je pense. 3 Tu sais quand je marche et quand je me couche, et tous mes chemins te sont familiers. 4 Bien avant qu'un mot vienne sur mes lèvres, Eternel, tu sais déjà tout ce que je vais dire. 5 Tu es devant moi et derrière moi: tu m'entoures; ta main est sur moi. 6 Merveilleux savoir hors de ma portée, savoir trop sublime pour que je l'atteigne. 7 Où pourrais-je aller loin de ton Esprit? Où pourrais-je fuir hors de ta présence? 8 Si je monte au ciel tu es là, et si je descends au séjour des morts, t'y voilà! 9 Et si j'empruntais les ailes de l'aube pour me réfugier aux confins des mers, 10 là aussi ta main me dirigerait, ton bras droit me tiendrait. 11 Et si je me dis: «Du moins les ténèbres m'envelopperont»;, alors la nuit même se change en lumière tout autour de moi. 12 Pour toi, les ténèbres deviennent lumière et la nuit est claire comme le plein jour: lumière ou ténèbres pour toi sont pareilles.
