@Soamsey If you are talking about a Judo tournament , I agree that he would not do as well with that throw. It works of brazilian gay jitsus because by being bent over they are off balance and very easily taken down. I have three other throws for brazilian gay jitsu practitioners that are clueless when it comes to momentun and body mechanics

perhaps the throws in BJJ seem slower because the competitors must think about where they will end up at the end of the throw. I see many Judokas win with an Ippon after being turned over into what could have been their own mount and undoing -- due to the extreme force they use in thows.

I think it is a given that elite competitors in any sport would not to well in international tournaments of other sports.
