    I have nearly 100,000 miles on mine, have run 12.006 @ 113.6 mph at the drag strip and it still runs great. Dyno'd at 486 RWHP.

  • the whole motor is complete stock,stock headers,stock rods and pistons, were gunna put a smaller pulley on it very soon and dyno it for numbers so stay tuned=)

  • as long as its under 500hp, theres no reason why the rods wont be able to handle it. i mean 450+ is pushing it but it can handle it

  • My now 72 year old father and I worked on a similar project. We've been running it for the past 2 years. Be aware that the stock belt tensioner is not capable of handling the upgrade. Found out the hard way that an aftermarket tensioner is absolutely necessary. Also, the stock clutch is not up to the challenge either. We've substituted it with a dual disk rated for 700 hp. and added an aluminum flywheel while in the neighborhood. Now the only money spent has been to pay the speeding tickets.

    from what ive heard a stock gt will be good around 10psi and 500rwhp for a DD... this is just what i have heard on many mustang forums
