Carol Burnett and Lucille Ball were best friends. Lucille would send Carol flowers on Carol's birthday every year. Lucille died on Carol's birthday, but Carol got the flowers for the last time that year. Lucille was a fantastic woman and her comedic shows will live on forever. Rest your soul Lucille.

What's so sad about these two is that they really loved each other but Lucy couldn't handle Desi's philandering and that's why they broke up. Funny thing. My girlfriend and I have known each other for 34 years this Halloween ( our first date, we LOVE Halloween ) and though we also fight at times, we also make up too. :)

Desi is not given enough credit for being the innovator in television that he was. Me, I probably would have killed Lucy for some of the stuff she pulled on Ricky.
