Observation: with the deep pockets it's parent company, Belo Broadcasting, apparently has, you'd think they'd be able to loosen the purse strings and splurge a little on KMSB's look and feel. I mean look at all the other stations in BLC's portfolio: WFAA (the corporate flagship in Dallas) and the other TX stations (KHOU, KENS, & KVUE) Look at WHAS. Look at WVEC. Look at the GO package created for the pacific NW stations, KMOV, and WCNC.

I figured when KMSB began producing the 9pm newscast by themselves, they'd get one of those great graphics packages that other Belo stations have...or at worst, use the KTVK package, which is still pretty good in comparison to what KMSB has now. From a graphics perspective, this newscast is Belo's worst. But I applaud them for finally getting the newscast out of Phoenix.

I guess the newscast must be a Belo afterthought since they're using a commercial production team for a live newscast.

@angelincal I agree. These graphics are pretty shitty. They should at least use a freakin' Chyron or something like that!!! These look like they were made on a Compix and edited on iMovie by a ten-year-old!

I am not a fan. I watched FOX 11 news for the first time in a long time the other night and hated it. The music is nice, but the graphics have to go.
