@domingostown1 EDC stands for everyday carry. It usually consists of something like a phone, wallet, light, gun, knife, etc. There are infinite variations on it and it is often adapted to your personal needs. For example, if your job permitted you to wear a suit, youre not going to carry as much as someone who say worked in everyday clothes. I think you should have one at all times, hence the "everyday" part. S

ok what with the EDC thing i dont get it someone explain..

@ghostypheus You should also consider whether the blades painted black or not. If you use it to much like I did the black paint on a Benchmade like mine just fades away.

@tshirtdiaperwearer : so the people using the toilet after him will have to sit down on somebody elses piss? Nice suggestion!

You can get rid of the toilet seat cover with this little tip I got for you. Just piss all over the toilet seat b4 you sit down. Make sure you always drink a glass of cranberry juice in the morning to make your piss more acidic. That stuff should kill most anything.

very cool edc set up!!! thanks for sharing!!!! SUBBED!!! looking forward to your everyday carry bag!!! PEACE
I did some research online and ended up buying the CRKT Drifter G10. The size and weight are excellent and you can barely notice that you're carrying it. This would be my first knife so I don't have anything to compare it to, but the several accidental nicks on my thumb indicate that it's fairly sharp. To top it all off, the Drifter can be found for less than twenty dollars!

@ghostypheus CRKT makes some really good knives too. I used to have the K.I.S.S. as my money clip, but I lost that a while back. The only problem with that knife was that sometimes it would open slightly while in my pocket. Thankfully it was sharp on one side and I never stabbed myself, but that could have turned ugly. That's a great choice for a first knife. You'll eventually get more comfortable with it and will stop cutting yourself. It only takes a few times. haha Enjoy!

Seeing as you've owned a Spyderco for 15 years and a Benchmade for some time, what kind of folding knife would you recommend to someone who's never owned a knife before?
You carry a little too much for what I would personally need on the daily, but a great EDC video all the same.

@ghostypheus Recommending a knife is almost like telling someone what to name their first kid. It's a really tough thing to do, especially since there are so many options. First, know your state laws on owning and carrying knives. Some states only allow a certain length to be carried. I like drop point blades with a half serration. I think I'd recommend a Spyderco over the Benchmade because it is about half the price. I had the Spyderco Endura. It felt good in my hand and it fit my budget.
