Lets challenge traditional insurance advertising.
Hiscoxs are a unique insurance company, so it seems only right that their advertising should be unique too. We wanted to stand out in a sea of insurance ads driven by hard sell price messaging, so we based our campaign on the insight that Hiscox pay out for situations that no other insurance company would do. We wanted to take this hook and use it to push Hiscox as the market leader in the mid-high net worth insurance category.
We proposed the idea of extraordinary cover and created a TV campaign on the thought that Hiscox gives you the confidence to flout superstition. Our approach was phenomenally successful, with a 40% uplift in online quotes in the first 48 hours and a 516% increase in online sales year on year. There was a 233% rise in telephone sales and their customer base also rose by 10% each month. More importantly for the future however, their brand awareness was increased by 500%.
