The accroski or ballet ski use to be part of the Freestyle Skiing Championship. Not anymore since 1999. Too bad!

i'll agree its intresting, and it obviously takes enormous skill

but seriously, if theres snow, and you have skis

why the fuck would you do this when you can be ripping down steeps and launching yourself across 50 foot jumps?

Why... because were i live there was no 50 foot jumps and no big mountain with powder. And in the 80's , acroski was part of the Freestyle World Cup.

Now, time has change, so do i.

it was a well executed mongoose walk at the 15 second mark, this guy is insane his form is ledgendary. the way he floats over the snow reminds of a delicate butterfly kissing a childs cheek
