  • Hi! Thank you very much for test this camera! You do great job! I have AMD 4200+, 2Gb RAM, GeForce7300Gt. Is it enough for using this camera and editing HD video!

  • Thanks!

Since you have a PC, I would check with the software you are planing to use and see what they recommend for editing AVCDH video.

  • quality looks great, FPS not so much honestly

  • Out of curiosity, what do you not like about this video's frame rate?

  • Cool. I Haven't used Vegas in MANY years.

  • Sony Vegas Movie Studio is great.

  • No problem. I know quite a few people like Sony Vegas so you may want to look into it. Another alternative is Adobe Premiere Elements. Most of what can be done in CS4 can be accomplished with Elements and it's SO much easier to learn and do things. Perhaps if you are in need of something now, I would look at Elements and graduate to CS4 as you become better and more comfortable with it.

  • Yeah, I have some experience with premier but I am still learning it. I am just watching youtube tutorials on how to do things as I need to do them. Thanks for your input!

  • CS4 is one of the most powerful editing tools you could get. The only issue is the learning curve if you don't have experience with Premiere.

I haven't used ImageMixer, as I've been on a Mac for just about a year and a half, but I have used Premiere quite a bit. Not lately, but it is the "standard" on a Windows box.

I would use it for your editing needs while you learn Premiere from the CS4 suite.

  • I am using "ImageMixer 3SE" but I just got CS4 so I am learning that and I got about 50 mins of some good biking footage so I am trying to make a short lil <10 min edit. I love the camera so far!
