no, he can't. We don't usually use usama when we talk about lions in daily life, well, I mean when we go to the zoo or something =O
but it might be use in poetry and literature.

MashaAllah, good channel idea.
Would be good if you left about 2 to 3 seconds between showing the picture and then the name of the animal. That once we have tried to learn the words, we can try and say the word before it shows on the screen .
