Final project for Dr. Bonk's P540: Learning and Cognition in Education, at Indiana University.

Any images with a blue sphere in the right hand corner are personal pictures that I have taken as an EFL teacher in Korea and Japan (though some have been automatically cropped by Animoto and are therefore missing their speheres). All other images were either taken from Google Image Search or made by me.

I cut and mixed the music from two sources. The first source is Pink Floyds Another Brick in the Wall, Part II, and the second source is Blue States Elios Therepia.

Made with: Animoto, Photoshop, Audacity, and Windows Movie Maker.

Enjoy!

  • @theredheads2 Thanks for the comments! I picked up the learning vs learner centered idea from my first course at IU. I have only seen it written about a few times. If you have a chance to take a course with Dr. Bonk (not the prof. of my first course), I highly recommend his classes!

  • I realize this video was done as a final project for a class, but I actually felt quite motivated as a teacher to do my job even better! I appreciated your phrase "our classrooms/teaching should be learnING-centered, not learnER-centered." I reeeeeally liked that distinction. Thanks, Anthoony!
