LOS TRES REYES - EN MI VIEJO SAN JUAN

El primer país que visitaron fue Guatemala, en Islas Canarias, Tenerife y Puerto Rico, el cual visitan cada año , han vivido grandes momentos. 1966 El trío se separa cuando contaban con 29 años y Avilés con 52, los tres en el mejor momento de su carrera. 1967 Gilberto deja el requinto y graba su primer disco como solista incursionando en la música brasileña; fueron 7 producciones en total. En 1991 Después de 25 años separados, inician una nueva etapa como el trío que siempre fueron junto a Johnny Albino, pero no duró mucho pues Albino decide regresar a Nueva York. Es cuando los hermanos Puente invitan a Leonel Gálvez, y resultó un éxito.

In " Trio" music, these guys were the standard for many years. With they voices, the precision of their guitars and interpretation of the words-- they were admired and unmatched. Many groups copied each other but these guys were originals. Also groups like Los Panchos, The Three Aces, Vegabajenos, Los Caballeros, Los Condes and others were just as and equally talented. But this group was superb in all facets including live performances.
