schedule me the weekends I work at my other job. Allowing the employer to say that they can treat the disabled like everybody else is both false and invites abuse. In my case I have schizophrenia and as you know schizophrenics have an 80% unemployment rate. The general feeling I get is that employers can do whatever they want with the non physically disabled. I am preparing a case against my former employer but I have a job interview as a program coordinator tomorrow so I may come out ahead here

I too would have hired barbara for the job. Not because of her physical capabilities of which she probably has a lack but hiring her for a job working with kids would expose them to diversity. She would probably have to understand that kids say mean things and cannot be held as accountable as an adult.
