This is my second attempt at a trailer for the movie adaptation of Lois Lowry's award-winning book. Once again, I do not own any copyrighted clips, photos, music, or logos. Cast: Jonas--Chris O'Neil; Lily--Rhiannon Leigh Wryn; Jonas' Father--Timothy Hutton; Jonas' Mother--Joely Richardson. And featuring MIMZY as Lily's Comfort Object!! (JK, again :p). Music: "Raising the Cross" by John Debney, from 'The Passion of the Christ'. Clips from 'The Last Mimzy'; photos courtesy of Yahoo! Search and Windows Sample Pictures.

I thought the Giver might even get an R-rating, considering; release, Jonas' dream about Fiona, the violence in most of the memories.

Yeah, I'm wondering how the rating is going to turn out. I think a major factor is going to be how the "release" scene is filmed, although I don't think there's really any way to sugarcoat that without totally ruining the story :/

rlly rlly kewl. how do u make vids? like how do u play the music, and then make slideshows wit the lyrics, and stuff. im not an expert but i need help. and i agree wit pg-13. it has some disturbing things. im 13 so i can watch it, if they ever think of making it a movie. it would be rl kewl. Harry Potter should be jonas xDD lol, and Lily, should be lily from Hannah Montana. The Giver should be Chucky XDD lmao. well ye nice vid. luv it actually. its like the rl thing.

Thanks!! I made this video on Windows Movie Maker, which, if you have a PC, should be one of the applications on your computer. You can edit the clips, music, and text there--there should be instructions on how to do it in the WMM toolbar :)
