One of my all time favourites. This song was constantly on the radio ca. 1977 -- soothed many a lonely night in the dormitory in a foreign land. This whole album is just incredible. From the hyme-like 'oh god of loveliness' to the sublime 'love hurts' and 'I'm dreaming', it is incomparable, her voice and projected imagery!

The ampliphier once belonged to Sandra Dee and Bobby Darin. There were two plates that they had purchased together. 1 was missing. It is so strange that items decades olds are so readily available. Alanis Morrisette also used vintage shirts and a vintage suit belonging to Bobby Darin when he did the Elvis thing in the movies and on stage. Bobby, Sandi and Jerry Lee's band compsed the Elvis songs together. Lee Ann Rimes in a vid holds up a Sandra Dee licence plate compliments of the composer.

I love this! How ture and what a perfect expression of how love can be as it surely is never a bed of roses all the time no matter how deep one feels love toward another.
However love does cover all; the good and the bad and all that is inbetween.
