if for instants, I've got a slingbox setup in another country or part of town and I have the slingcatcher in other town or country, can it access that slingbox via using the internet just like the laptops and the mobile/cellphones, is that what they mean by remote-location?

I gave the SlingCatcher a try and was very disappointed. It's no wonder it took them so long to release it as it is not of the quality people are used to from Slingmedia. The idea is great but we're hoping they get it right someday. Back to the store it goes...

Sling have caused a lost of disappointment with the constant delays of this. We know and respect them enough not to accuse them of being in the vaporware business, but this product is nearly two years late.

This product is really late. It would be great if Sling would issue some information on a shipping date.

is this just like a wireless tv sender but instead using the home network which wont cause inter. with wireless broadband? cause that will be my next purchase cause it will mean i can have the media box in my room cause atm wireless tv inter. with the internet :S

Sounds more interesting then my Slingbox - and I love my slingbox!
